The story of a station born from a genuine passion for indie music
It all started in a Lyon apartment, on the third floor of a walk-up building, with an old sound card, a mediocre internet connection and an endless playlist of artists nobody ever heard on the radio. It was 2022, and we told ourselves there had to be people like us — people who needed that music, somewhere between Mitski, The National and Bandcamp discoveries.
The name Mirror Park came naturally. It's that imaginary place where everything we love is reflected — the vast skies of the American west coast, Glasgow clubs on weeknights, bedroom recordings that become masterpieces. An imaginary park where indie music finds its echo.
Since then, we've grown. 500+ tracks in the library, a team of passionate people, weekly shows and a community of listeners who share this conviction: the best music isn't always the loudest.
We don't make radio to fill airtime. Every track chosen, every show built, every dedication aired is a conscious decision. We curate carefully — not by the charts, not by marketing budgets, but by what it makes you feel.
We believe indie pop and independent rock have something fundamentally honest about them. They talk about real things: loneliness in a big city, love that starts too fast, summers we regret before they're even over. Mirror Park is the radio of all those emotions.
